Pool Houses

In real-estate terms, a pool house can be defined as an “outbuilding designed to enhance the poolside experience” by minimizing the need to enter the actual house during pool time. At its simplest, it’s the place where guests can change into swimwear and where the homeowner might store the plethora of pool toys and pool-maintenance accessories. The pool house is usually a free-standing building, not attached to the main house or garage. It’s typically more elaborate than a shed or cabana and may have a bathroom, complete with shower facilities. We will conceptually design the pool house to fit into the overall plan. From there, we will get an architect involved to finalize all the details.

Cabanas

Cabanas have become a growing trend in the past 5 years. These structures typically have no walls, or 1 – 2 walls without any attached rooms. Our clients use them in conjunction with fireplaces, kitchens, or bars. Lighting fixtures and fans are always installed in the ceiling, often with a radiant heater. These functional spaces allow use year round and in inclement weather.

Decks

Decks are a great way to enhance the outdoor living space at a fraction of the cost of a masonry built raised patio. We build decks with treated wood and composite materials. Decks are easily customizable. Wood decks give a more natural appeal to the backyard.

Screened Porches

Closing in an existing deck or creating a new screened in porch area to keep the bugs and North Carolina weather at bay is no problem.

Pergolas

Installing a pergola can serve many purposes: shade, creating an outdoor room, giving height to a space, or a place to hang a fan and lights. Each of our pergolas are designed to fit the style of our client and their home.

Fencing

Wood fencing is a great way to add privacy to the backyard. The fencing can also double as a pool barrier. Fencing can last for many years if properly maintained and sealed.

Wood Screens

Wood screens are used to block neighbors or unsightly objects such as pool equipment, AC units, or generators. We customize every wood screen to our projects.

Lattice

Although decorative in and of itself, a lattice is often used to support climbing plants and vines and can even serve as a fence. Sections of lattice help improve the appearance of utility areas and are often used to edge flower beds, or as a surround for waste cans or skirting at the bottom of decks and porches.
